Refund Policy
When FranchiseTracker gives money back, how to ask for it, and what happens to your access afterwards.
Cancelling — no refund needed
Most of the time cancelling is what you actually want, and it takes about as many clicks as subscribing did. Go to your account page and choose Manage subscription. You do not need to email us, phone anyone, or explain yourself.
Cancelling stops the next charge. Your subscription stays active — with full access to rosters and contact details — until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and then quietly ends. We do not pro-rate an unused part of a month, because you keep the service for all of it.
The free first month
When the free first month is offered, nothing is charged while it runs. It converts into a paid monthly subscription at the normal price when it ends, unless you cancel first. Cancel at any point during that month and you are never charged at all, so there is nothing to refund.
The free first month is limited to one per person.
Our 30-day money-back window
If you subscribe, get charged, and decide the service is not for you, email us within 30 days of your first paid charge and we will refund that charge in full. You do not need to justify the request.
Rosters you have already unlocked do not count against you. We will not deduct anything for them, and we will not argue about how much of the service you used. What does happen is straightforward: a refund ends the subscription, and ending the subscription ends paid access — including to the rosters and contact details you unlocked while it ran. A refund and continued access are not available together.
Renewals
Monthly renewals after that first charge are not routinely refundable, because you can cancel at any time before one happens and you will always have had a full month of service for the month you were billed for.
That is a default, not a wall. If a renewal caught you out — you meant to cancel, you were charged during an outage, something clearly went wrong — email us and tell us what happened. We would rather sort it out than win an argument.
Rights the law gives you
Nothing in this policy takes away a right your own law gives you, and where the two differ, the law wins.
In particular, consumers in the EU, EEA and UK have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, subject to the conditions in Paddle's buyer terms (opens in a new tab) — including how that right applies once you have started using a digital service. Our 30-day window is offered on top of that, not instead of it.
How to ask
Email support@franchisetracker.app from the address on your account, and say that you would like a refund. Including the date of the charge helps, but it is not required.
We aim to reply within two business days. You can also raise a refund request directly with Paddle through Paddle's buyer support (opens in a new tab), using the receipt they emailed you.
How the money actually reaches you
Paddle.com is our reseller and the merchant of record for every order, so Paddle issues the refund, not us. It goes back to the payment method you used — we cannot send it anywhere else.
Once approved, the refund usually appears within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Paddle will email you a confirmation when it is issued.
Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong with a payment, please email us before disputing the charge with your bank. A chargeback freezes the account while it is investigated and takes weeks to resolve, where an email usually takes a day.
